Vision & Values

To foster a just, sustainable, and resilient society by integrating social justice, ecological stewardship, economic empowerment, and knowledge-driven policy. Through our four centers— Center for Political Science, Center for Journalism and Digital Media, Center for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation, Center for Maritime Economy and Oceanography— we strive to create inclusive communities, protect natural resources, promote equitable economic opportunities, and influence progressive policies for lasting social transformation.
